Lowrance GPS Data Manager software problems

When you go to open the file in GDM6 the name of the file on the memory lowgance should display as 'Data. My goals in sequential phases are to back up my Lowrabce, Create my own database simple spedsheet on my compututer, then use it for trip planning then finally be brave and upload back to my GPS.

No maps but can change Datums etc- probably the most flexible with datums and datum conversions.

Out of curiosity, I tried reading the charts off of my navionics SD card, but I can't find anywhere in the software to import or open them.
